UK set to benefit from ‘game-changing’ underwater cables

Plans for a major undersea electricity cable that will connect the UK with Morocco will aim to provide vast amounts of electricity.

UK is set to benefit from “first of its kind” underwater cable is being built 3800km long undersea electricity cable connecting the UK with Morocco.

The cables, to be built by energy start up Xlinks, could give Britain access to vast quantities of renewable energy.
